There is a ThunderCats reboot coming to Cartoon Network and “ThunderCats purists” will be in for a shock. The production team has taken the popular 80s cartoon in a decidedly different direction.
The show will be drawn much differently than the original cartoon and will seemingly take a more humorous approach than the original. However, ThunderCats Roar looks to fit in with Cartoon Network’s current lineup, which features such shows as Teen Titans Go! and Adventure Time among others.
ThunderCats Roar is slated to debut on Cartoon Network in 2019.
