May 27th City of Sheboygan
Police were called on a man who was seen searching a grassy area, leaving and returning. The man explained to a responding deputy that he had lost his lucky quarter.
May 24th City of Beaver Dam
A man called police to report that a purple ribbon had fallen off of a decorated tree and into his yard the previous day. The man told police he was unwilling to pick the ribbon up and throw it away as he felt it was the responsibility of the organization that put the ribbon on the tree. An officer coming through the area was due to pick up the purple ribbon later in the day.
May 28th Brown County
Police responded to reports of an apparently plastered, pantsless person near the park in Pulaski.
May 19th City of Waukesha
A resident called police to complain that neighborhood children were making noise playing basketball after sunset. Responding officers found the noise the kids were making was NOT excessive and used the headlights on their squad cars to illuminate the basketball court for about 20 minutes until the game was over.
May 9th Village of Grafton
A police officer stopped a car filled with five teenage boys after noticing they were in possession of a “large package of toilet paper” in the car. The 17-year-old driver told the officer that it was his mother’s car and her toilet paper. He further denied any intention of using the toilet paper in question to “T.P.” the high school. Twenty minutes later, the same officer found the five teens crawling through the brush near the high school armed with the package of toilet paper.
May 23rd Town of Saratoga
Resident called police to report that their neighbors’ dog who killed their chickens had now dug up the dead chickens’ bodies and left them strewn about their yard.
May 20th Village of Plover
A gas station employee called police and said a man was stumbling near the railroad tracks. The man told police he was just practicing his dance moves.
May 25th Village of Allouez
Officers were asked to check on the welfare of a woman wearing white, checkered pants & mismatched shoes on Webster Avenue who was hugging a tree.
May 25th City of Green Bay
Police in the backyard who “appears to be high” had a duffle bag and was throwing items up on the roof.
May 21st City of Green Bay
Police received a report of a suspicious vehicle with a trailer full of dead carp with carp blood everywhere.
May 23rd City of Plymouth
Police were called to Lakeland University to investigate the possible theft of two coffee vending machines.
May 19th City of Brookfield
Police received a report of seeing the head and hands of a dead person in a stream. Responding officers discovered the dead person was actually a long-deceased raccoon.
