It’s been a hidden gem in Canada for years and unavailable south of the border except in YouTube clips. But American fans of the show “Letterkenny” will now have proper access to the Canadian cult favorite starting in July when it becomes available on Hulu on July 13th.
The show – which started as a web series in 2013 – is into it’s fourth season and has won a number of media awards in Canada. The show is set in Letterkenny, Ontario and centers on Wayne and Katy, a brother and sister who live and work on the family farm with the help of Wayne’s friends Daryl and Squirrely Dan. “Hicks”, “skids” and hockey players are also prevalent in the community. As you can guess, this show is VERY Canadian but it is fantastically funny. The first scene from the first show of the first season sets the tone for the series. (Be warned… NSFW due to language.)
Give yer balls a tug and check it out. You won’t be disappointed. Only the first two seasons will be available on Hulu when the show begins on July 13th.
