An American Treasure is the new career-spanning box set from Tom Petty that will be released September 28 from Reprise Records.
Tom Petty’s daughter Adria and wife Dana along with Heartbreakers bandmates Mike Campbell and Benmont Tench curated the tracklist, and album artwork was created by the legendary Shepard Fairey.
Expect previously unreleased tracks, live takes, alternate versions, and deep cuts, depending on which version of the Treasure you pick up. It will be released in a standard 2CD collection with 26 tracks, a 6LP vinyl edition, and a deluxe and expanded “Super Deluxe” 4CD set with 60 tracks and extensive extras.
Tom Petty died October 2, 2017 at the age of 66.
