A home in Connecticut that had received storm damage during Hurricanes Sandy and Irene was being raised to avoid additional damage from future storms. A construction crew was attempting to raise the house on to concrete and wooden pilings when things went horribly wrong. Footage at WeatherChannel.com shows the house slipping and crashing down. Unfortunately the home was deemed unsafe and had to be demolished afterward.
