Brian May and Roger Taylor of Queen are elated that Bohemian Rhapsody was recognized with Golden Globe nominations.
The film is up for Best Motion Picture, Drama. Rami Malek, who plays Freddie Mercury, is in the running for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture, Drama.
May says, “I’m thrilled to see that the brilliant team who created Bohemian Rhapsody the movie is being honored in this way in the nominations. We’re all immensely proud of the way the film has so deeply emotionally affected people all around the world. And Rami is so deserving of recognition for his stupendous performance. Thank you, Golden Globes!”

The Golden Globe Awards take place January 6th.
