Poker on the Fox is a full weekend celebration. The event invites boaters, motorcyclists, music lovers and the public to enjoy a Powersports show, two band concert at the Leach Amphitheater and a Poker Run on throughout Oshkosh and surrounding areas.

The Poker Run portion of the weekend is not a race and all are invited to causally visit the stop sponsors. If you are traveling by boat the size of your craft should be of no concern. Grab your buddies and make a day of fun filled boating out of it.
If your are a motorcyclist this is a chance to run around the waterways by bike and enjoy the views of the countryside and water.

West Allis, WI – March 8, 2010 – Officials at Wisconsin State Fair today released the sixth show scheduled for the Potawatomi Bingo Casino Main Stage at the 2010 Wisconsin State Fair, presented by U. S. Cellular. The 2010 Fair will take place Thursday, August 5 through Sunday, August 15 at Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis.

Fronted by a Wisconsinite and one of the most popular classic rock bands of the 70s and 80s, the Steve Miller Band will perform at the Potawatomi Bingo Casino Main Stage at the Fair on Tuesday, August 10. With an instantaneously recognizable sound and a slew of hits that fans know by heart, the show promises to be an unforgettable one for those in attendance. “Fly Like an Eagle,” “Take the Money and Run,” “The Joker,” “Jet Airliner,” “Swingtown,” and “Jungle Love” are just the beginning of the band’s discography that is packed with hits.

Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, co-founder of the group Traffic and critically acclaimed singer/songwriter/guitarist Dave Mason will entertain audiences with his soulful blend of rock and blues when the show kicks off at 7:30pm on August 10. In addition to his solo career and work with Traffic, the iconic Mason has played with Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and the Rolling Stones. Reserved seat tickets for Steve Miller Band with special guest Dave Mason go on sale on Saturday, March 13 at 9 am and will be available for $45, $35, and $20.

Tickets for this Potawatomi Bingo Casino Main Stage concert along with tickets for the Wisconsin State Fair may be purchased online at WiStateFair.com or in person at the Wisconsin State Fair Administration Office in the Tommy G. Thompson Youth Center from 9 am to 1 pm on Saturday, March 13. Please note that the State Fair Box Office will NOT be open until April; therefore the Youth Center will serve as the on-site ticket selling location for these shows on March 13 ONLY. Please enter Gate 5 off of S. 84th Street (just south of the Pettit Center) and park in the lot in front of the building. Admission to the Fair is required in addition to any concert ticket, and there is no unpaid seating in the venue. LOS ANGELES, April 12, 2010 - Roger Waters, co-founder and principal songwriter of the archetypal progressive band Pink Floyd, is commemorating the 30th anniversary of the original release of The Wall with a monumental tour featuring a full band and a newly-mounted state-of-the-art production of his epochal masterpiece of alienation and transformation performed in its entirety.

The Wall has been previously performed live in its entirety by Waters just 31 times including Pink Floyd's 1980-81 tour in support of the album. A spectacular Roger Waters solo staging and performance of the rock opera in July 1990, celebrating the fall of the Berlin Wall, drew nearly a half million fans to the Potsdamer Platz.

LOS ANGELES, April 12, 2010 - Roger Waters, co-founder and principal songwriter of the archetypal progressive band Pink Floyd, is commemorating the 30th anniversary of the original release of The Wall with a monumental tour featuring a full band and a newly-mounted state-of-the-art production of his epochal masterpiece of alienation and transformation performed in its entirety.

Up to date details on Roger Waters' The Wall Tour, and more, may be found on the artist's newly relaunched and redesigned website, RogerWaters.com. Waters is personally involved with the site and will be communicating with fans through it.

The Wall has been previously performed live in its entirety by Waters just 31 times including Pink Floyd's 1980-81 tour in support of the album. A spectacular Roger Waters solo staging and performance of the rock opera in July 1990, celebrating the fall of the Berlin Wall, drew nearly a half million fans to the Potsdamer Platz.

Roger Waters’ The Wall North American Tour, produced by Live Nation, will open September 15 in Toronto and runs through December 13 at the Anaheim Honda Center (please see full itinerary following).

The New York Times (March 2, 1980) declared that "The Wall show remains a milestone in rock history, it will be the touchstone against which all future rock spectacles must be measured."

Originally released in November 1979, The Wall was America's top-selling album of 1980, is one of the top-selling double albums of all time, and is still in the US Top 5 best-selling albums of all time.

The Wall was made into a metaphorical musical film, directed by Alan Parker with screenplay by Roger Waters, in 1982.

One of the most profoundly influential albums in the history of recorded music, The Wall continues to affect pop culture while resonating with generations of music fans.

He’s a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, a chief guitar influence to rock titans like Hendrix, Clapton, Beck, and Vaughan, a pioneer of Chicago’s fabled West Side sound, and a living link to that city’s halcyon days of electric blues.

Buddy has received five Grammy Awards, 23 W.C. Handy Blues Awards (the most any artist has received), the Billboard Magazine Century Award for distinguished artistic achievement, and the Presidential National Medal of Arts.
