Event Description: The Radisson in Green Bay will be the stage on November 12 for a unique musical experience from the dynamic supergroup Bandallamas, along with some very talented colleagues for their special "Power of Eleven" (11/11/11) concert tour. Since it is Veteran's Day weekend, the group is partnering with Veterans For Peace in hopes that the music will bring us all together and allow the group to donate a portion of the evening's proceeds to their scholarship foundation.
The evening kicks off with a special memorable one hour meet and greet with members of the band as well as honored guests, distinguished Green Bay Packer Alumni- fan favorites Ahmana Green and Bill Schroeder and a key member of the Super Bowl XXXI winning team from 6:00 – 7:00 pm for VIP’s, charitable ticket purchasers and sponsors. The concert will follow beginning at 8:00pm.
Bandallamas (www.bandallamas.com) boasts an impressive list of performers including one who is a founding member of Violent Femmes. These are all highly in-demand artists who have worked on stage and in the recording studio with some of the biggest musical performers in the industry from U2, Frank Sinatra and Barbra Streisand to Bonnie Raitt, Sheryl Crow and Garbage making music that you hear every day. The band was entered for nomination for two Grammy Awards in 2010 for Best Album for their Eye to Eye release (Rock) and Best Song Eye to Eye (Rock).
General admission tickets are $17.00 in advance and $20.00 the day of show. Charitable tickets cost $35 and are available at the same outlets. A portion of the proceeds from the show will go to Veterans For Peace scholarship foundation. For more event information, contact Lisa Bethke, Bandallamas LLC President, (920) 475-4336.
