Jeff LeBar was the guitarist in Cinderella and on Wednesday, July 14th he was pronounced dead at the age of 58. The announcement came from his son via an Instagram post.
Jeff LeBar joined Cinderella in 1985, just before they recorded their major label debut, Night Songs. He played on all four of the group’s albums, which included five Top 40 hits like “Nobody’s Fool,” “Don’t Know What You Got Till It’s Gone” and “Coming Home.”
The band split up in 1995 and then regrouped in 1998. They toured off and on through the early 2010s but then went on hiatus in 2013. LeBar said in multiple interviews since then that his drinking problem caused friction with his bandmates — especially frontman Tom Keifer — and caused them to split up again.
