Since his son is an assisant coach on Xavier's men's basketball team, Bill Murray wasn't too happy that the Badgers knocked them out of the NCAA Tournament.  But apparently he shouldn't be surprised...

Sorry, Bill.

Phil Collen's Guitar

A woman brings in a gorgeous guitar painted and signed by Def Leppard's Phil Collen, and the man himself swings by to take a look. #PawnStars

Apparently people like to "do the hibbity-dibbity" after the Super Bowl.  So much so that over the years a number of children were conceived after the big game.  They're called "Super Bowl Babies" and part of a spike in births in an NFL city nine months after their team wins the championship.

Seriously.  There's data out there somewhere that supports this.  So it's science.

Leave it to the NFL to seek out these precious angels, get them all together and have them join with singer Seal to perform a version of his biggest hit.  Not at all creepy or awkward, Roger Goodell.

And yes... there are Packer babies
represented from the first Super Bowl.  Frankly, I was expecting a higher number but hey... you go, grandparents!

It's all been confirmed that Guns N' Roses will be headlining this years Coachella festival in Indio, CA.

The questions keep coming in though. Question number one is Who's in the band? Well that logo you see above this was posted on Guns N' Roses official page so we know obviously it's Axl Rose. This picture was also posted to Slash's official page so that can say without a doubt that Slash is back in Guns N' Roses. That's the huge get of course but now who makes up the rest of the band? Again that picture was also posted by orginal bassist Duff McKagen, so it looks like Duff is back in the band. Now this is brand new but since orginal rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin doesn't have any social media accounts other than his personal Facebook page it was hard to tell what he was doing, but a friend of a friend posted this.

So with that it looks like Izzy is back in the band. Now that's 4 out of 5 orginal members. Rumors have stated that Use Your Illusion era drummer Matt Sorum would be back behind the kit, but Matt hasn't posted anything like those other members have, and neither has orginal drummer Steven Adler. That could mean that Chinese Democracy era drummer Frank Ferrer is still in the band, but we shall see. Also Dizzy Reed is still the keyboardist but he's been there since 1990 and a second keyboardist Chris Pittman is still there as well.

That's what we know so far. As soon as more info rolls in we'll post it and if that NFL stadium tour that was rumored gets announced we'll get that up to. Crossing our fingers for Lambeau!

Story from WHBY News Director Mike Kemmeter

Two in custody after shooting in Neenah

An active shooter situation in downtown Neenah is over.

Police Chief Kevin Wilkinson says the scene is safe, and the community is no longer in danger. He says one person and a police officer were injured, and the police officer is OK.

Two people were taken into custody, at Eagle Nation Cycles, on Doty Avenue. Police went there around 9 a.m., after reports of multiple gunshots. One victim was taken to Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah, and a spokeswoman for the hospital says there aren't any updates on the person's condition.

SWAT officers had the shop surrounded for about three hours, before two people surrendered around 1 p.m., by walking out of the back of the business.

A witness told WHBY's Phil Cianciola that the situation started last night, with a customer dispute over a bike. Alcohol may have been a factor last night, and the customer was apparently told to go home and "sleep it off." The witness says the man returned this morning, and opened fire in the shop.

Police are planning another update when they have more information.

     http:// Full video here!!

Metal fans were thrilled last week when James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett revealed that Metallica is currently recording a new album. And now we’ve got proof! Today they shared a video on the band’s new website, showing Hetfield hard at work on new material. It will be their first studio album since 2008’s Death Magnetic.

Lars Ulrich served as “host” for the clip, intended as a special bonus for those who’ve signed up for their newly-free fan club. After talking about the new site and fan club, he leads the camera through the studio doors to capture Hetfield recording guitar tracks with producer Greg Fidelman. The moment may be short, but it’s definitely a sweet taste of what’s to come. Sign up for their site here!

“It’s heavy. We’ve got some heavy stuff going, Hammett recently told Ultimate Classic Rock. “It delivers on that front for sure. You know, I would say a lot of it is along the lines of Death Magnetic.”

oct 29th 2015 this 1986 video shows.  The band was asked by this German TV program to lip-sync their performance.  And they did in the best way possible...

Moral of the story:  Iron Maiden can play instruments.  Let them.

By the way, next week during "My Three Songs" it's your chance to win beer and a CD from Iron Maiden.  That's not a bad thing.

You know... the successful runner from UW-Madison and Stevens Point native.  She won championships and set records in track.  She was the pride of the state.

Then everyone found out she was making $500 an hour as a call girl.  THAT Suzy Favor-Hamilton?

She has a book coming out.  Click on the image for details.

I don't think they taught any of this at Madison.

About 20 years ago, someone thought it would be a great idea to capitalize on the cult success of Clerks the movie and adapt it to the small screen.  And it might have worked except for two things...

1) Kevin Smith wasn't involved and...
2) Disney was.

So as you can imagine this didn't turn out well.  (No Jay & Silent Bob?  C'mon.)  Thankfully, Disney didn't go ahead with the idea... especially after they saw the pilot below.  Even a young Jim Breuer and Keri Russell can't save this trainwreck.  Enjoy.

Do you like to give money for worthwhile causes?  Sure you do.  So why not help out a number of area musicians and pony up for this documentary they're working on about the active 80s NE Wisconsin punk scene?  Just click on the picture for videos and other information on this very cool project.  You have a job now so there's no excuse.
