April 2nd City of Elm Grove
A Walgreens employee called police and reported that a customer who told him she had just arrived by satellite was waving a screwdriver around in what appeared to be a threatening manner. When an officer arrived, the woman told him he looked nice but that she was not threatening anyone with her screwdriver. The woman then told the officer she would now be leaving on her satellite.

April 7th City of Oshkosh
Police responded to a report of a shot accidentally fired during struggle in an apartment over an AK-47 assault rifle. Three men were charged in connection with the incident. One of the men told police that he had done a “decent amount of cocaine” that night because he was “into cocaine and white women.”

March 31st City of Waukesha
Police were called to a home where a woman reported that her microwave exploded on her. Police found the explosion just a popping sound made by the potatoes in her beef stew.

April 6th city of Shawano
A South Union Street woman called police to report that after she told her downstairs neighbor she should change her cats' litter box more often, the woman sent her a nasty text message.

March 17th City of Delafield
Employees at the PDQ food store called police to report a 29-year-old man who was acting unusual in the store. When police arrived, the man was sitting in his car dancing to music. His vehicle was stopped, and he passed a field sobriety test. There was no evidence of controlled substance use, and he was warned for a signal violation.

April 7th City of Wisconsin Rapids
A judge sentenced a 31-year-old Marshfield man to five days in jail after the man drove drunk…to his alcohol assessment class.

April 5th City of Marshfield
A 25-year-old Lac du Flambeau woman was caught in the act of taking a bag of pistachio nuts. An employee of the store confronted the woman and the nuts were recovered.

March 22nd Town of Jackson
Police responded to a report of a domestic squabble at an apartment building. When they arrived, they were told that the fight began when the man came home intoxicated and asked the woman to marry him and she became angry because she needed to get up for work in three hours.

April 6th City of Waupun
Police were called to Walgreens where a customer was trying to return a gallon of milk but had no receipt. When he was denied, the man got mad, threw the gallon of milk down and left the store in a huff.

March 25th City of Chilton
Police responded to a report of a suspicious situation on East Walnut Street where "pajama bottoms and girly pictures" were found above a ceiling tile in the bathroom of a school.

March 30th City of Menasha
A man on Racine Street reported that someone tried to steal his business sign. He confronted the would-be thief who said he was stealing it for a bet and put the sign down.

April 7th City of Wisconsin Rapids
A driver called police to report seeing a hitchhiker who was making obscene gestures at passing cars.

April 6th City of Marshfield
Police were called to break up an altercation at the movie theater. A 40-year-old man was at a movie with his son during which he told the responding officer that someone seated behind him kept bumping into the back of his seat, about five times. He said that he told them to stop but it continued. The man admitted to throwing some popcorn at the woman behind him after, or at about the same time, he allegedly was punched or backhanded with an open hand against the left side of his mouth by the 67-year-old woman. The man confronted the man seated with the 67-year-old woman and grabbed the man’s shirt collar pulling him towards the front of the theater.

March 31st City of Franklin
A resident called police to report someone had vomited in their gas tank.

April 8 City of Beaver Dam
A man called police to report that the neighbor woman was up on the roof of her house swearing down at him and his kids.

March 9th Town of Jackson
An employee of the Comfort Inn called police to report that guests had refused to stop smoking in a room and needed to be removed. She also told police that when employees knocked on the door to tell the people they had to leave, a woman replied, “I want to get high first”.

April 3rd City of Wisconsin Rapids
A woman called police and reported someone selling meat came to her father's home, entered the house, sat on the floor, used the bathroom and asked for a drink of water.

April 5th City of Greenfield
A resident called 911 to report that he thinks his neighbors are "hiding something" because they refused to allow him to take some branches they had on their property. He was cited for misuse of 911.

April 4th City of Stevens Point
Police arrested a shoplifter after he was caught in the act of attempting to steal underwear, chewing gum, jumbo steaks, energy drinks and Yu-Gi-Oh cards.

April 8th Town of Beaver Dam
A resident contacted police to report that a man came to his house last night and took all his clothes because he owed the man $80. The man told him he had until tomorrow to pay up or else.

March 31st Town of Menasha
An officer was requested to assist in the retrieval of a sewing machine that had been loaned to a person on Happy Valley Drive who was now refusing to return it. The officer spoke with the borrower, who initially was hesitant to identify herself, and ultimately refused to return the sewing machine or divulge its current location.

April 2nd City of Portage
Police were called to Wal-Mart where three women were yelling and swearing so loud in the pharmacy section that could be heard in the lawn and garden department.

A driver called police to report that every morning the same man at the same intersection makes the same obscene gesture at him.

April 3rd City of Marshfield
Police responded to a report from a Buyer’s Guide employee of telephone abuse. The employee reported receiving numerous vulgar voice mail messages from a 55-year-old man who did not receive a Buyers’ Guide newspaper.

March 28th City of Stevens Point
A caller told police that members of the household found a 38-year-old man sleeping on their couch. Police determined the man had sleep-walked to their house and had no idea how he’d gotten there.

March 31st City of Wisconsin Rapids
A man reported his neighbor was drunk, pounding on his door and threatening to harm him. The drunken neighbor later called saying he was angry that someone was drilling holes into his walls.

March 30th City of Waupun
A man driving by Main and Bly streets called police to report he saw a man in black digging through the garbage bin out by the curb. A responding officer discovered the man was just looking for his fiancé’s grandmother’s obituary.

March 28th City of Oak Creek
Police were called after a woman at Kohl’s Department Store told a boy repeatedly that his shoelaces were untied. The boy’s mother told the woman they would take care of it, but as they were leaving the store the woman said “I’ll show you what happens if you don’t tie your shoes,” and then stepped on the boy’s shoelaces, causing him to trip into his mother. The boy was not injured.

March 25th City of Waukesha
Police were called because a woman reported her UPS package was stolen off her front porch. The UPS website said it was signed for by “Shrek.”

March 22nd City of Glendale
A man was arrested for drunken driving and refusal to take a breath test after he was seen driving erratically. An officer followed him with lights and siren but the man kept driving. When he finally pulled over and the officer pulled up behind him, he backed into the squad car, but there was no damage. Just then his phone rang and the man grabbed a garage door opener, put it to his ear and said, “Hello, hello.”

March 23rd City of Shorewood
A man was arrested for theft of three registration stickers he cut from license plates. The man, who was already intoxicated at noon, was asked how long he’d been drinking. The man replied, “Since 1976.”

February 24th City of Neenah
A caller on Jean Street reported that a man was feeding ducks in his backyard. An officer contacted the man and advised him he was violating an ordinance. The officer returned later to take photos of the ducks and the sunflower seeds that were spread across the yard as evidence of the alleged duck feeding.

March 10th Village of Nekoosa
A woman called police and reported she went to a fast food restaurant to get food for her and her children. The woman told police she waited 10 to 15 minutes and still didn’t have her food!

March 9th City of Brookfield
A resident on Royalcrest Drive called police because she heard her husband yell, “Stop, I have a gun,”. The man told police he believed a man with a hat was trying enter his second-story bedroom, but then he realized it was just a figment of his imagination.

March 5th City of Menasha
A guidance counselor called police to report a kindergarten student brought a butter knife to school and was threatening to use it to cut other students.

March 3rd City of Germantown
A resident called police just before midnight to report his neighbor owed him $2.39 for some milk he had bought her but she would not answer her door or pay him back. The officer told the caller that police would not be attempting contact with the neighbor due to the time of night, and the caller became upset. The officer then explained it was a civil issue and due to the circumstances, police cannot make the woman repay him.

March 4th City of Brookfield
Police responded to a complaint that a resident was shoveling snow into the road. When told by officers that he needed to remove the snow from the street, the man reportedly responded, “Where am I supposed to put it, up my ass?” He eventually moved the snow to the edge of the road.

March 12th City of Shawano
Police were called to a location on Highway 22 were a staff member reported seeing a man open mouth kissing his own mother and felt it was inappropriate.

March 1st City of Waukesha
A resident called police to report hearing female voices screaming and thought it was a domestic incident. Responding officers found it was just the children who live in her residence and some of their friends screaming while playing a game where they run outside without their shoes on to see who could stand in the snow barefoot the longest.

March 13th City of Shawano
Officers responded to a call from a daycare center on Olson Street. A child at the daycare center reportedly threw a plastic lizard that struck another child.

March 7th City of Greenfield
A resident called police dispatch to report a woman was driving an unlicensed scooter on the wrong side of the street while walking a dog on a leash making the dog run alongside her so fast that it doesn’t have time to urinate.

February 28th City of Waupun
A woman called police to report her daughter is receiving text messages from a man claiming to be Jeffery Dahmer and threatening to come and see her.

February 27th City of Waukesha
Police responded to an apartment after a caller reported hearing a domestic disturbance in a neighboring apartment. Police discovered no domestic disturbance, just residents watching “Dr. Phil with the volume turned way up.”

A resident called police to report seeing “a man in a scary clown mask”.

February 7th Town of Jackson
Officers were dispatched to investigate a Jeep that was driving into a 7 foot snow pile. They found said snow pile but the Jeep was no longer driving into it, having become stuck on top of it.  When an officer asked the 20-year-old driver why he drove his Jeep on to the snow pile, the man responded, “Because it’s a Jeep”.

March 7th City of Marshfield
Police responded to a report of a suspicious customer at a convenience store. A female employee reported an unknown man in his early 20s came into the store to purchase alcohol and asked the employee to come into the bathroom with him.

March 6th Town of Grand Rapids
A woman called police and reported an unknown man left Valentine’s Day candy at her door.

March 1st Town of Grand Rapids
A woman reported to police that people came into her house and sat on her sofa and wouldn’t leave.

February 25th City of Brookfield
Police responded to a report of a woman who chained a suitcase to a pole in front of Barnes & Noble. She told security personnel there were no bombs in it, went in the mall, then returned to unchain it and walked away. When police caught up with the woman, she told them she just didn’t want to bring her suitcase into the mall.

Police were called to a home where a man locked his girlfriend and their baby out of their home because when she went to the store she bought him soda instead of cigarettes.

A woman called police to report that her mother took her sweaters and some dresses from her apartment because she thought the outfits were “too sexy” for her to be wearing.

A man called police and reported four teenagers standing in a doorway and swearing at people.

January 29th City of Neenah
Police were called to a Green Street residence where they cited a 19-year-old man with property damage and disorderly conduct after he allegedly hit another man with a vacuum cleaner.

February 2nd City of Hales Corners
A man called police to ask an officer to respond to Confucius Restaurant because they put his sauce upside-down in his to-go bag and sauce spilled all over his car. The man was upset because the manager refused to do anything about it when he complained, so he wanted police to go to the restaurant first "before the cops are called on him." The caller was advised it was a civil matter and did not warrant police intervention.

February 1st City of Marshfield
A 24-year-old man was cited for second offense drunken driving after he was found sleeping in his vehicle in the Taco Bell drive-thru. The vehicle was running and in drive when police found the man. It is not clear whether or not the man received his Taco Bell order before being taken to the police station for a blood draw.

February 6th City of Shawano
Police responded to a report of an alleged domestic dispute at a residence on East Lieg Avenue. A woman at the residence told police her husband had thrown a soda at the wall, tossed a rabbit cage and bent her wallet.

February 5th City of Shawano
A 911 call that is believed to be a pocket dial was received. According to the police record, the 911 dispatcher heard a man talking to someone named Scotty and belching very loudly.

February 2nd City of Portage
A man called 911 and told police he had outstanding warrants and wanted to be taken to jail. When police arrived, the man gave them a false name. Per his wishes, he was taken to jail on the warrants and also on a charge of obstructing an officer for lying about his name.

February 3rd City of Waupun
A woman at Our Bar on East Main Street called police to report concrete was poured down the toilet and she knows who did it.

February 1st City of Beaver Dam
A man told police a group of woman approached him at Wall-Mart and one of the woman used her phone as a “kiss cam.”

A resident called police because a man on East Main Street was yelling at another man to leave. When police arrived, a 35-year-old man said he was invited over to the other man’s house. The man at the residence said the other man was NOT invited over to his house.

January 29th Town of Jackson
A man called police to complain that his 28-year-old stepson was intoxicated, disorderly, and refusing to sleep in the basement. The officers found the son sleeping on the couch in the main level. The man complained that he had swine flu because of how cold it is in the basement. Much of what the man said didn’t make sense because of his intoxication but he INSISTED that the responding officer check out the basement for himself so he could see just how cold it was. The officer went down to the basement where he found the man's marijuana stash and paraphernalia in plain view, earning the man two citations.

January 25th City of Waukesha
Police responded to a disturbance where neighbors were arguing about where a snow plow driver was moving snow. One resident said the plow driver tried to run his wife over. The caller later admitted he was upset the plow was pushing snow to his side of the street so his wife stood in front of the plow as it was trying to clean a driveway. The residents were advised on their behavior and told to let the snowplow driver do his job.

February 3rd City of Waukesha
A man at Price Point Inn called police because he believes someone was in his room. The man told police he found a clump of hair. Police, could not find any signs of forced entry but reported that the floor was "filthy."

January 28th City of Brookfield
Two women were arrested at Party City after one woman reportedly distracted employees while the other concealed items. When police arrived, they found the women, ages 21 and 25, attempting to leave the store with a variety of Justin Bieber merchandise.

February 2nd City of Brookfield
Police were called to the Factory Card Outlet where two 24 year old woman were caught in the act of attempting to steal $66 of cups, plates, napkins, balloons, bags and invitations all bearing the likeness of Justin Bieber that they told officers they wanted to use for a Super Bowl party.

January 27th City of Brookfield
A man called police to report that the neighbors below him were pounding on their ceiling. Police contacted the neighbors, who said they were just trying to tell him to "shut up" because he was talking on the phone so loudly they couldn't hear their television.

January 26th city of Cudahy
A 53-year-old woman was cited for disorderly conduct. The woman reportedly confronted her 26-year-old son and his girlfriend. According to the woman's husband "there was some tension about hockey tickets and who was going to use them." The son accused his mother of pushing his girlfriend. The mother denied pushing her, but "stated she did push her son just to show him how she would push someone."

January 25th - Lake Oswego, Oregon
A woman called police because she became suspicious when she discovered a wet footprint on her front porch. Upon investigation by police, they discovered that the footprint was her own.

February 4th - Miramar, Florida
A charter school went on lockdown and a main road and adjoining side streets were blocked for over two hours after suspicious items discovered in the street in front of the school. Police eventually determined that the suspicious items were several decorative pillows.

January 30th - East Greenwich, Pennsylvania
Authorities are searching for a man who tried to rob a Hallmark store.  According to  police,  the suspect presented the store's cashier with a Hallmark birthday card in which he had written his own lovely sentiment. Written inside of it were these words..."Give me all the money or I will kill you." Unfortunately for the criminal wordsmith, the store cashier was unimpressed - that person called another employee over, and the suspect ran off without any money.

January 25th - Dutch Harbor, Alaska
A man called police and reported his television remote had been stolen the previous day. An officer responded to the victim’s residence and quickly located a remote in the house, but the victim advised the officer that the remote he found was his back-up remote and his primary remote which had clearly been stolen since he was unable to find it. According to police, the matter is not under investigation.

January 16th - Strongsville, Ohio
Police were called to Chase Bank after a woman demanded $10,000 and threatened to put a curse on the employees if they did not give her the money. The woman, who was a former customer, said the curse involved both a stomach illness and "constant diarrhea." When police arrived, the woman was gone. However, when she returned the following day, for the $10,000 or to enact her curse, the woman was arrested by police. No word on whether her stomach flu spell worked.

January 1st - Jensen Beach, Florida
A 30-year-old man was arrested October 1 in the drive-thru of the Taco Bell. Deputies arrived to find him either passed out or sleeping — and smelling of booze — with his foot on the truck’s gas pedal. According to police, when they asked the man for his I.D., he handed the officers a taco.

A man called police and reported he bought cigarettes and gas from a service station, and the attendant was mean to him.

January 25th City of Wisconsin Rapids
A woman called police and reported her boyfriend bit her and stole her cigarettes.

January 26th Town of Menasha
A 28-year-old man on West Wilson Avenue man was cited for loud music after neighbors called police. The man told officers he was “livin’ it up” because he did not have his child. He was upset the neighbors called police and said that he was the scapegoat for other issues. The man became agitated with officers, swore and crumpled up the ticket and threw it on the floor.

January 25th City of Greenfield
A man called police from the Aldi parking lot to report he had blocked in a driver after she almost struck him while she was talking on her cellphone. The woman in the car also called police to report a man was standing outside her car door and screaming at her.

January 20th City of Waukesha
A woman called 911 to report her boyfriend was "bugging her". A responding officer found the "bugging" that led to the emergency call was the result of the two having a disagreement about what to watch on television.

January 10th Town of Brookfield
A representative from a business that sells custom made clothing for clergymen called police to report that a man who bought four priest's cassocks and bishop's cape paid for the vestments with a stolen credit card.

January 20th City of Greenfield
A male suspect entered Subway, implied he had a weapon in his pocket and attempted to rob the business. The suspect, who was wearing a dark hoodie, blue surgical mask and some type of bandana over his eyes, took a black vegetable container before fleeing the business.

Police responded to a call from the employee of the Community Library reporting a 51-year-old man was bathing in the restroom. The responding officer spoke to the man who explained he was just cleaning up after pooping his pants.

January 13th City of Wisconsin Rapids
A resident called police to report someone with a loud radio was smoking “weed” and “hacking up a lung”.

January 16th Town of Grand Rapids
Police responded to a report of a man standing in a driveway and yelling at a house.

January 10th City of Waukesha
A woman called 911 to complain to police that she is “tired of being controlled by Tom Cruise and Will Smith".

January 10th City of Waukesha
A concerned father called police to report his ex-wife was “putting an Irish/Native American curse on his daughter.”

January 7th City of Waukesha
A man was arrested after running through an apartment building, kicking doors and screaming. According to callers, the man was screaming, “I have weapons, I have ammo.” Another caller said the man was yelling that he was going to use the ammo and weapons to protect everybody from the blizzard conditions.

December 20th Town of Jackson in Wood County
Police received a call from people concerned about a 23-year-old man who was talking to a snowman an oranges.

January 16th Town of Beaver Dam
Police were called to check on a 31-year-old man who drank a large quantity of whiskey and threw himself into a snowbank.

December 3rd Town of Stockton
A who called the sheriff's department told deputies that a 20-foot tall corn on the cob and trailer were stolen from his residence. Thankfully, the 20-foot tall corn on the cob and trailer later were recovered.

November 29th City of Oak Creek
A resident of an apartment complex called police to report there was the smell of "burning flesh" coming from somewhere in her building. An officer dispatched to the building and reported that he detected the smells of fresh baked bread, taco seasoning, pumpkin pie, ham seasoned with brown sugar and cloves, several Asian spices and various candle scents. However, the officer did not detect any smell of burning flesh.

November 19th Town of Menasha
Officers were sent to a residence on Bel Air Court after receiving five 911 calls from an intoxicated female who wanted to report that her son had taken the car keys, presumably because she was too drunk to drive. The dispatchers told the 52-year-old woman she should call the non-emergency number in the future. After she made several more 911 calls after that, the woman was cited for disorder conduct.

November 27th City of Fond du Lac
An officer was following a vehicle near the intersection of Hickory and Arndt Streets when he noticed its loud exhaust. During a traffic stop, the officer smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle. Inside were two women with red, watery eyes and two young children. While speaking with the passenger, the officer noticed a bulge in her shirt. When the officer asked her if the bulge was hidden contraband, the woman grabbed her bra and exposed her breasts to the officer, proving the bulge was just boobs and not drugs.

December 1st City of Waukesha
Police were called to Family Dollar about a customer that had been in the store for the last four hours staring at a blank computer screen. The man told officers he was using the computer in an effort to apply for a job. He said it was taking him so long because of “spiritual issues” he is dealing with. A clerk told police the man also tried climbing up on one of the store’s coolers.

December 4th City of Shawano
A girl called 911 to report a girl on Prairie Street would not give her her blanket back. The girl told the dispatcher that her father had suggested she call 911 about the blanket. The dispatcher informed the girl that her blanket problem did not constitute an emergency.

December 3rd City of Manitowoc
Police arrested a 17-year-old high school student in connection with a series of graffiti incidents. The boy admitted to the graffiti and told police he went out on a spray-painting spree to calm himself down because was frustrated with his multiplication problems.

December 1st City of Marshfield
Officers responded to a report of a person screaming inside an apartment. When police arrived, the man residing at the address refused to open the door. Based on the circumstances of the screams, the officer forced entry into the apartment. It was determined the man was alone and was screaming at himself.

A woman called police to report another woman came after her with a flag.

November 5th City of Waukesha
Police were dispatched on a report of a man and woman fighting. The caller said there were items being smashed. When police arrived they discovered the woman was screaming because there was a mouse in the house. The banging was apparently the mouse being pummeled by a broom. The mouse carcass was observed and confirmed by police.

November 3rd Town of Menasha
Police responded to a theft at a Holly Road hotel. Hotel management told police one of their guests pawned the room's television, microwave, and mini fridge.

October 27th City of Cudahy
A 25-year-old man was taken to an area hospital, after he kept telling people that he was a horse and “everyone is pretty”. The man refused to cooperate with officers and medical staff but eventually revealed he had “injected mushrooms”.

November 9th City of Portage
Officers responded to a report of a man and woman fighting and screaming. The woman allegedly threw a bottle of ranch dressing spilling its contents.

November 15th City of Wisconsin Rapids
A woman called police to report hearing screaming from a neighbor's apartment. Responding officers discovered the screening was coming from a child who was upset over a video game.

November 13th City of Wisconsin Rapids
A resident called police and reported someone stole a lawnmower from his yard. A responding officer located the lawnmower...in the resident's yard.

November 13th City of Monona
Recycling plant workers called police to report finding what appeared to be a severed human hand in the trash. A detective examined the hand more closely, counting six fingers but no thumb. A forensic anthropologist confirmed it was a bear paw. According to a police Sargent, “When it doubt, count the fingers, or in this case, the claws.”

November 14th City of Juneau
A woman called the sheriff's department to request a deputy check on the wellbeing of a friend who had been so sick for a couple days she was unable to get off the couch. The deputy checked on the woman and found her to be in better health and arrested her for violating her parole.

A man on Wilcox Street called police to report a man he knows stole $10 from him. The accuser later called police and said he found the $10 in his couch when he sat on it and withdrew his complaint.

October 6th Town of Menasha
Officers responded to a report of a male and female yelling at each other. Upon arrival, the officers found a mother and son were arguing about God. The son was trying to get his mother to follow Jesus.

October 9th City of Waupun
A man on West Franklin Street complained to police that the county owns the property next to him, and that the property has an apple tree on it that is attracting bees. He asked police to file a complaint against Fond du Lac County for not keeping the bees off his property.

October 14th City of Wisconsin Rapids
A woman reported a skunk with a jar stuck on its head, banging on her steps.

October 16th Village of of Rudolph
Police received a call from a woman reporting her neighbor’s goats were walking on her newly planted grass.

October 16th City of Wisconsin Rapids
A caller reported a group of five people wanted to start a fight during rapping conflict that had gotten out of hand.

October 10th City of Germantown
Police responding to a report of a domestic dispute at a residence discovered the source of the “argument” was actually the resident, who had his headphones on and was singing a profanity-laced song in the kitchen.

September 27th City of Nekoosa
A caller reported someone trying to break in through a bedroom window. An officer determined it was probably just the sound of a box falling in a back room.

A manager at Jimmy John’s was arrested after getting into an argument with an employee. The employee said the manager pushed him and punched him after getting into an argument about the proper way to clean a wall.

October 17th Town of Burnett
A woman called the sheriff’s department to report seeing an elderly woman sitting alongside the roadway and waving at passing motorists.

September 24th City of Menasha
An Appleton Street woman called police because she couldn’t “parent” her son. Police eventually found out she was upset because her 16-year-old son took a glass of wine away from her. She received a warning for 911 misuse because it was the second time she called that day when there wasn’t an emergency. Police also advised her they weren’t going to raise her teenager for her.

September 28th City of Glendale
A 32-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct after punching another man in the face during Oktoberfest at the Bavarian Inn. The two men were reportedly fighting over which one could speak better German.

September 22nd Town of Charleston
A Debra Court resident told police a male subject came to her residence twice in the past week, looked in the door…and laughed.

October 2nd City of Mequon
A 51-year-old Evanston, Illinois woman was warned for driving the wrong way on a divided highway. The woman said she was just following instructions from her GPS and was “not impaired… just confused”.

September 28th City of Mayville
Police responded to a domestic dispute. According to people at the residence a 49-year-old man and his 74-year-old wife were celebrating an anniversary and had been drinking. The woman’s son, a 52-year-old, got into an altercation with his younger stepfather. The 49-year-old stepfather injured his 52-year-old stepson in order to avoid getting hit in the head.

October 6th City of Waupun
An anonymous caller told police marijuana could be smelled coming from an apartment on West Jefferson Street. Police made contact with the renter who allowed police in. They observed three incense sticks burning, but no evidence of marijuana.

A man on West Jefferson Street said his neighbor has a smell of incense coming from their residence. The resident said he does burn incense but would not let police in. Police sniffed around but did not smell any illegal drugs. It is unclear from the police report, if they did or did not smell any incense.

A Park Street resident called police to report “strange things” happening to their property and that someone had burned holes in their trampoline.

A woman reported a man, who identified himself  as “Jimmy Beam”, said he was going to blow up her daughter’s house.

September 23rd City of Waukesha
Police were called to the library on a report of a man wearing a mask and telling people he wants to change their diaper. Police advised the man on his unusual behavior and told him that wearing masks in public will draw attention.

September 14th City of Menasha
Officers were dispatched to a tavern on Tayco Street for a report of someone taking money from a tip jar. The bartender said a man let himself behind the bar and started pouring drinks. When the bartender noticed, she told him he had to leave. A short time later, she noticed $10 missing from the tip jar. Police found the man and searched him, but didn’t find the $10.00.

September 21st City of Portage
Police received a report of a man illegally trying to enter a locked retail store. The man, who registered a blood-alcohol concentration of .328 percent, mistook the store for his home.

September 27th Village of Port Edwards
A man called police and reported "having bad thoughts" at a park. An officer gave the man a ride.

September 15th City of Brown Deer
A woman was arrested for disorderly conduct after making threats because she was unhappy with her take-out order from Applebee’s. The woman had ordered spinach dip and when she got home it was cold so she called the restaurant demanding a refund. When told she could get a new order but not a refund, she returned yelling and swearing threatening to cause damage. When asked to settle down, the woman replied, "I can do what I want."

September 21st City of Germantown
A resident of an apartment building called police to report he heard a group of elderly females in the community room discussing "what a drunk he is," and would like an officer to respond to stop the rumors before they escalated. The responding officer made contact with the caller and one of the females, and both were advised to stop interacting with each other.

September 22nd City of Waukesha
Police were called to unplug a curling iron. The caller said they left for the airport for a week-long trip and realized they forgot to unplug their curling iron and were hoping police could help. Police reported the curling iron was successfully unplugged.  

September 28th City of Nekoosa
A  resident reported all the mailbox flags were up on mailboxes on her block. As a result, the caller’s mother was afraid to open her mailbox.

September 27th Town of Saratoga
A caller reported seeing a man on a horse was chasing another horse. Deputies determined the man was trying catch a runaway horse. 

September 28th City of Nekoosa
A woman called police and reported her son had called about four hours before, saying he would be home in about 10 to 15 minutes but that he had not yet returned home. The woman later called back to say her son had been out milking cows with a friend. 

September 19th Town of Dexter
A woman called the sheriff’s department and reported receiving a "scary" scam call. The call came from New York. Deputies told the woman they would NOT be going to New York to knock on that person’s door and tell them to stop.

September 18th City of Menomonee Falls
The owner of Thomas Orthodontics called police to report an unknown subject had illegally left food scraps on his property at. The caller told police he was having ongoing issues with this problem since Aug. 20, 2012, and during the latest incident an entire crock pot with chicken soup remnants was left at the front door of his business. This was the fourth documented complaint of a similar nature since 2012.

September 29th Town of Hubbard
A woman called the sheriff’s department to report seeing what she believed to be an alligator running in a corn field.

September 24th City of Beaver Dam
A called notified police of seeing a man swearing and singing to himself and then went into a house. Police contacted the man and found everything was okay.

September 22nd  City of Wisconsin Rapids
A woman called police to report the smell of charcoal and lighter fluid. A responding officer discovered that the smell was from her neighbors were barbecuing .

September 25th City of Manitowoc
Police arrested a 44-year-old man on Mirro Drive after two people called to complain that he was walking around outside naked, urinating in a fire pit and playing his music too loud. When officers arrived, they could see the man naked in his bedroom through an open window. He put on his shorts, came outside and denied being outside in the nude. He told police he had been drinking bourbon.

September 23rd City of Waukesha
Police were called about a suspicious person. The caller said the man was laying down next to their car with a plastic bag and a large butcher knife. Police found the man who had fake knives for Halloween and said he had just laid down next to the car because he wanted to rest. 

September 21st City of Portage
Police were called to the scene of a disturbance at the Spinning Wheels Skate Center roller rink. A 34-year old woman was ordered to appear in court on a charge of battery to a child after police said she intentionally stuck out her arm and clothes-lined a an 11-year-old boy causing him to fall and bite his lip.

September 23rd Town of Lebanon
A woman called the sheriff’s department to report a theft. She told a deputy someone stole green beans from her freezer.

August 3rd City of Menasha
An officer responded to a report of a heated verbal argument between and man and wife that started because her brother made an offensive comment about Bears fans in front of his children. The wife told the officer they are “having trouble adjusting after moving here from Chicago five days ago”.

August 28th City of Shawano
Police and an ambulance were dispatched to a home of South Lincoln Street where a woman was struck with a broomstick while trying to break up a fight between her two sons. The son were reportedly fighting over the possession of 3 cigarettes.

August 17th City of Menasha
An officer responded a Ninth Street resident who called to report birds making excessive noise.

August 31st City of Marshfield
A resident called police to report the suspicious behavior of an unknown male. The caller reported the man would frequently bring items to her residence while occasionally wearing a fake beard and wig.

August 24th City of Beaver Dam
A caller reported a man on the front porch of a property kicking a bicycle chained to a porch. The caller asked the man what he was doing and he told him to “never mind” and then left in his vehicle. Police made contact with the man and he denied being at the residence.   

August 4th City of Menasha
A resident called police to report a group of three children were on his property, one of whom pooped on his porch.

August 24th City of Marshfield
A caller reported a 54-year-old neighbor was shouting inside his home and seemed to be arguing with someone. The man locked the door and refused to speak to officers who arrived on the scene. He was arrested when he attempted to exit the home but resisted and attempted to break free from the arresting officers. Police were not able to locate anyone else inside the home and it is believed he may have been arguing with himself.

August 28th Town of Beaver Dam
A woman called police to report a couple she did not know came to her door looking for cigarettes. When a deputy located the couple, they explained that they had gotten lost walking from the hospital, were in need of cigarettes and just thought they could locate some in the trailer park where the caller live.

July 26th City of Menasha
A 71-year-old Menasha woman called 911 more than 150 times since April. The woman reportedly called 911 regularly — sometimes several times a day — and hung up the phone when a dispatcher answered. When Menasha police called back to make sure everything was all right, the woman would deny having placed a call.

August 22nd City of Franklin
A resident called police to report that a maroon van with Voodoo dolls in it and dirty underwear hanging in the back was driving around the parking lot at gas station. Police found the van in a nearby parking lot and questioned the driver, who explained she was looking at the business because she was possibly buying it. She had no explanation for her Voodoo dolls and dirty underwear.   

August 25th Town of Beaver Dam
A resident called police to report finding an unknown woman cleaning the caller's vehicle. The woman was reportedly intoxicated and believed the vehicle she was cleaning was her own.

August 25th City of Wisconsin Rapids
A resident called police to report a man would not leave his residence despite being asked to do so. The man told a responding officer he couldn’t leave the residence because he had a headache.  

August 24th Town of Theresa
A man called police to report that sometime during the night… someone painted his mailbox.

July 28th City of Waupun
Police responded to a report of a man and woman having sex on the corner of East Main and Mill Streets. The responding officer observed a man and woman pressed up against a building. The woman swore at the officer and laughed while trying to put her clothes back on. The man, who was pantsless, with his genitals exposed, refused to identify himself and told the officer he was invoking his fourth, fifth and six amendment rights.

August 21st City of Oak Creek
A 44-year-old man was arrested after a witness reported that he was walking around naked near the tree line. Responding officers found the man was not naked. He just looked naked because he was only wearing a light pink thong.  
August 25th City of Wisconsin Rapids
An anonymous caller reported a vehicle traveling through the city that had children sitting on the floor because they were wearing wet swimming suits. 

August 25th City of Waukesha
Police were dispatched to a report of three men jumping on top of a Maserati in a car dealership lot. When police arrived they found the men who said they were up-and-coming rap artists filming a video for their latest rap song.

August 27th Town of Seneca
Police received a phone call from a man who said he accidentally stabbed himself in the leg AND set himself on fire. The call was discovered to be unfounded. 

August 21st City of Waukesha
A woman called police to report there were animals in her house and she would like a net put over them. The woman said there was one small animal by her washer and another one sitting on her purse. An officer checked the woman’s home and assured her there were no animals in the house.

Police responded to a report of an argument between a man and a woman. The two told police they got into an argument over their children throwing sand at each other.

July 19th City of Neenah
Police responded to a report of a disturbance on Winneconne Avenue. When they arrived, a man would not allow officers to enter the home. An officer finally kicked in the door and discovered...two teenage girls arguing about a cell phone.

July 26th City of Wisconsin Rapids
Police responded to a report of a bag of vomit and needles. (Vomit and Needles – bad name for a band. Worse name for an entrée.)

July 26th City of Wausau
Police officers armed with assault rifles responded to a report of a man being held hostage. The man had sent a text to his mother asking her to wire some money because he was being held with a gun to his head. Police cordoned off the neighborhood for more than an hour before learning there was no gun and no hostage. Just a guy trying to trick his mother into giving him some money.

July 27th City of Marshfield
Officers responded to a report of a fight in progress. A 47-year-old woman reportedly became agitated and attacked a 38-year-old man. The woman was transported to the hospital after accidentally punching herself in the face.

July 19th City of Menasha
Police responded to a drug complaint. The man who called police told him that he had tried to buy marijuana from another person but the person failed to give him the marijuana he purchased.

July 30th Village of Port Edwards
A woman called the sheriff's department to report her teenage son threw a chair in the oven.

July 30th Town of Saratoga
A man walking in the woods called authorities to report encountering a cow named... Trixie.

July 29th City of Wisconsin Rapids
Officers who responded to a hold up alarm at an area restaurant, found an employee who had gotten stuck in the freezer and pulled the alarm to have someone come get him out.

July 26th City of Waukesha
A man called police to report strange and frightening noises outside his apartment. The culprit was identified as a bullfrog.

July 30th City of Waukesha
Police investigated a report of a man making employees at a Mobile station feel uncomfortable. Employees called police to say the man kept staring in the store and making Star Wars references by asking employees to join him on the “dark side.”

July 30th City of Waukesha
An officer reported disorderly conduct by the owner of a bicycle shop after he observed the man making rude gestures out the windows of his business at the passing officer. According to the officer, he was patrolling downtown and saw the bicycle shop owner, “jumping up and down in the front window of his store making obscene gestures and screaming obscenities.” The officer said the man would not exit his store to speak with him about what had angered him.

A woman called police to report she believed her son might be drinking while playing mini golf.

A man called police asking them to remove his girlfriend from his residence because, “she is driving him crazy with gossip.”

June 29th City of Waupun
A woman on Cochran Street called police to report seeing a man sitting on a curb and...doing nothing. Investigating officers found the man was just delivering newspapers when he ran out and was now waiting for someone to bring him more. After officers departed the scene, the man resumed...doing nothing.

July 3rd Village of Eland
A woman called police to report that her stepdaughter is causing a disturbance. The caller told police the  angry stepdaughter was standing in the driveway where she was loudly swearing because someone left a cake in the refrigerator. The same caller also indicated that her son had thrown sand in a pitcher of beer at a baseball game.

June 3rd City of Chilton
An employee of a convenience store on  East Chestnut Street called police to report a man stole one can of beer from the cooler. The culprit was apparently wearing latex gloves so as not to leave any fingerprints.

June 7th Village of Harrison
Police received a report of a suspicious person selling children's books door-to-door on Sweet William Drive. The caller told police the man's eye contact and body language made them very uncomfortable. The man also had a very well-drawn map which the caller seemed to think was very strange

June 30th Town of Beaver Dam
A 57-year-old woman called police to report that a 60-year-old man was threatening to toss her bricks into a field. Contact was made with both parties and the man was warned about his behavior.

July 2nd City of Shawano
Police received a report of a bunch of people on Butternut Road "all driving like a-holes".

June 29th City of Portage
Police received a report of a man who took a sub sandwich in the bathroom of a business and then attempt to leave with it in his pants. Investigating officers found two empty mayonnaise packets on the bathroom floor.

June 23rd City of Glendale
Police and firefighters responded to a fire alarm at an apartment building. A 61-year-oldwoman told police she pulled the alarm because she was locked out of her apartment. When told that wasn’t what the fire alarm was for and she would be cited, she said she wasn’t worried because what else was she supposed to do.

June 30th City of Germantown
A woman called police to report two people “engaged in a sexual act” on the soccer field.

June 8th City of Oak Creek
Someone stole seven ceramic dwarfs, valued at $100, from a yard leaving behind a ceramic Snow White.

July 1st City of Waukesha
A man was taken into custody for disorderly conduct after threatening an employee at a pizza place. The employee told police the man told her, “Once I get down there, you will not be able to walk out the door".  The caller was reportedly angry with her because she could not hear him over the phone and asked him to repeat himself.

July 5th City of Wisconsin Rapids
A man called police to report he found a loaded clip to a gun behind a washing machine. Responding officers identified the loaded gun clip as actually being a cigarette lighter.

June 14th City of Menasha
Police responded to a gas station on a report of a man acting strangely. The caller told police the man was sitting on the pump stands and when asked to leave refused. When police arrived, the man told officers he was upset because the gas station employee called him "'Sir', and in reality, his ancestors date back to the Queen of England so this makes him an Esquire", not a "sir".  Police told the "Esquire" to leave the premises.

June 30th City of Sheboygan
Police received a report of a juvenile stomping on the roof of a car on 6th Street. Police discovered the boy was just stomping on the car to help his dad get the convertible top closed.

June 26 Village of Tigerton
A caller on County Trunk M reported a bull chasing their grandchildren.

June 25th City of Shawano
Police responded to a report of a man  kicking trees on East Green Bay Street. The man told the responding officer that it was part of his MMA fight training. The officer suggested the man train elsewhere and noted that for an MMA fighter the man did not have very good balance.

June 25th City of Shawano
Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a car that drove into a swampy area on North Cattau Beach Drive. The driver told deputies she lost control of the car while trying to swat a bee. The woman was not injured. The police report failed to state the condition of the bee.

June 27th City of Shawano
An employee of a business on South Main street called police to report an eight-year-old boy who refused to leave the store. The employee told police the boy was wearing a backpack, sitting on the floor in the middle of the store and would not move.

June 22nd City of Marshfield
A 19-year-old Neillsville man was cited for theft after allegedly stealing a piece of framed artwork that was hanging in the men's room of the Kentucky Fried Chicken.

A woman on South Locust Avenue called police to report someone had entered her home and poured themselves a big bowl of cereal and water.

June 26th  Village of Port Edwards
A man called police to report a car pulled into his driveway and the driver looked in his window and knocked on his door. Officers determined that the driver was a pizza delivery man trying to locate the correct address.

June 15th City of Mequon
A 52-year-old man was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after fighting with another man. The man, who was intoxicated, became angry when he found ferrets in a cage in the victim’s car saying they shouldn’t be locked up. He removed the cage and then attacked the victim. No injuries were reported.

June 21st City of Waukesha
Police responded to a report of two little girls seen putting ducklings in a lunch box. Police made contact with the two little girls who had two baby ducks in their lunchbox that police released. Police advised the girls against putting baby waterfowl in their lunchboxes.

June 13th City of Waupun
Officers stopped two 18-year-old man who we're DRIVING a couch down Main Street. The men had put the couch on a frame with wheels, attached a gas-powered motor and were moving it from one house to another. The couch also had a sign on the back reading "Caution. Slow moving object." (not the couch pictured!)

June 6th City of Menasha
A Mathewson Street woman reported that her neighbor was moving things on her property. Police contacted the neighbor, who admitted to moving bread so she would not have to look at it out of her window. However, the neighbor said the woman and man at the residence purposely throw bird seed on her roof to antagonize her. The woman who called police admitted the behavior and both she and the man were issued warnings for disorderly conduct.

June 17th City of Shawano
Police were called to an East Richmond Street location where a resident complained about the smell of bad toast. When officers arrived, they were unable to locate the smell of bad toast, however, they did smell that was believe to be marijuana.

June 13th City of Shorewood
A woman called 911 to report that someone in her building was snoring so loudly it was keeping her awake. The woman told the 911 dispatcher that she needs to get at least12 hours of sleep every night. The caller was informed this was not a police matter.

June 14th City of Germantown
A resident called police to report her neighbor was in his own yard and looked in her direction but DID NOT ACKNOWLEDGE HER! Police advised the resident that she would be cited for any further unfounded calls.

June 16th City of Germantown
Police received a call from a woman reporting that people at her place of employment were wearing her “colors.” The resident stated she felt coworkers are wearing clothing colored the same as previous vehicles she owned and believes a former coworker was telling them to do this.

May 26th City of Shawano
A homeowner on West Curt Black Road called police to report someone had stolen her asparagus. The caller told police they had noticed the driver of a silver Dodge pickup truck checking out their property a few days earlier. The caller speculated that the pickup driver might be the asparagus thief.

May 22nd City of Mequon
A 76 year-old man and a 73-old woman were cited for disorderly conduct at an apartment complex. The woman told police the man pushed and grabbed her after she told him he needed to take a bath and cut his dog’s toenails.

May 29th City of Fond du Lac
A woman filling a bathtub In her apartment for her six-year-old child heard neighborhood kids shouting obscenities. The woman told her six-year-old to turn off the water in the tub while she went outside to talk to the parents of the children who were shouting obscenities. The child forgot to turn off the water in the tub and it overflowed. When the woman saw the apartment complex maintenance man, she asked him to come in and help her clean up the mess. When the man refused because he was off duty, the woman began shouting obscenities at h in the middle of the parking lot. The maintenance man called police and the woman was cited for shouting obscenities.

May 25th City of Hales Corners
An officer who stopped to assist the driver of what appeared to be a disabled vehicle. However, the officer discovered the vehicle was not disabled, but rather, that the driver had stopped her car because she was deathly afraid of spiders and believed one was crawling on her hand. The officer assisted the driver by checking for spiders in the vehicle and she was sent on her way.

May 18th City of Oak Creek
Officers responded to Mainstay Suites after the front desk clerk reported there was a woman in the parking lot who was too drunk to walk. While officers were en route to the hotel, the clerk called back and stated that a man just wheeled the woman through the lobby on a luggage cart and went into the elevator. An officer spoke to the man, who stated the woman was too heavy to lift without assistance, so he used a luggage trolley to take her back to the room. The man also told police he had taken the woman to senior prom in 1964 and was reuniting with her for the weekend.

May5th City of Waukesha
A caller reported that his neighbor went into the woods, picked up the caller's dog's feces and placed it on his doorstep with a note stating “clean up after your dog.” Police advised the caller to clean up after his dog, and the neighbor to avoid leaving profane notes regarding dog feces.

May 30th City of Wisconsin Rapids
A 15th Ave. north resident called police to report their neighbor's garbage was beeping. Responding officers found a smoke alarm disposed of in the garbage can.

An employee of Skis Meat Market in Custer called police to report having caught a 33-year-old culprit in the act of trying to make off with cheesy popcorn and a beef stick.

The 21st Avenue South resident called police to report that woman came to her house and asked for a cup of sugar.

A woman called police to report that her neighbor was opening a sewer cover and kept sneaking over and cutting her grass.

Police received a call from a man reporting that his brother's girlfriend was yelling at him.

May 28th City of Waupun
Police received a report of about 10 kids lingering around vehicles. Police found the kids were putting Post-It notes on friend's cars. Police instructed the kids to return to the cars and remove the Post-It notes.

May 25th City of Waupun
A woman called police to report that a cat had wandered into a bar. Police told the woman they don't pick up cats and advised her to shoo the cat out the door.

May 30th City of Horicon
Police ticketed an ambulance driver after he move the barricades and entered the closed East Lake Street bridge. The driver told police he moved the barricades because he was on his way to pick up a patient at the hospital and his boss was angry that it was taking so long.

A resident called police to report that a woman about a block away keeps taking pictures of her daughter. Police talked to the photographer, who said she is only pretending to take photos, so people feel they are being watched so they follow the rules. Police advised the woman to stop doing that.

May 22nd Village of Bonduel
A East Bowler Street woman called police at 4:00 am to report her sister and some guy were at her home and wouldn't leave. While the woman was still on he phone to police, the sister started throwing beer bottles at her.

May 21st City of Shawano
Someone called police to report the smell of marijuana coming from an East Fifth Street residence. Responding officers found the smell was actually coming from a skunk.

May 20th City of Waukesha
Police received a report a missing envelope that contained a $5 bill. The caller said the envelope was on their kitchen table and when they returned, it was missing. After a search by police, the missing envelope was located on a kitchen chair where it had apparently been blown by a ceiling fan.

May 20th  City of Nekoosa
A woman reported someone got into her residence and spilled jelly on her clothes.

May 20th City of Wausau
Police responded to a report of a woman shoplifting beef sticks. When confronted by police, the woman apologized and offered to pay for what she had shoplifted. She then began pulling merchandise from her purse, including a bottle of lotion, two packages of beef sticks, a stuffed animal and several bookmarks before pulling a number of scarves from her bra. As she pulled the scarves out the scarves, several thousand dollars of heroin popped out of her brassiere.

May 17th Village of Biron
A woman reported people at her door were refusing to leave unless she bought them cigarettes.

An officer responded to an anonymous report of a man on a four-wheeler, followed by two pedestrians with open intoxicants. The officer determined the "open intoxicant" they were  imbibing was...iced tea.

May 22nd City of  Shawano
Police responded to a report of a vandalized vehicle on East Division Street. The culprit left behind a note on the car reading, "Sugar daddy, you are blocking our view".

May 11th City of Neenah
Police were dispatched to Cameron Way for a man who checked into a hotel with his daughter and was acting strange. Employees at the hotel were concerned for the child’s safety because he drove to a motel in a car that had a tire that had been flat for some time. Then the man asked an employee to throw away a bag of clothes and he was in possession of pornography. Officers determined nothing criminal was going on.

May 21st City of Shawano
An Acorn Street woman concerned about her brother called police after finding several text messages on his phone that used the word "grits". She was concerned that "grits" was slang for drugs. The brother claimed it was slang for cigarettes.

Police received a report of a 5-year-old girl in a blue dress on Lincoln Street climbing up a power pole.

May 23rd Town of Hubbard
A man called the sheriff's department to report someone rang his doorbell.

May 21st Town of Chester
A woman called the sheriff's department to report that the belt came off her tractor and she believed it might have been an act of vandalism. A responding deputy determined it was not vandalism. The belt was just old and cracked.

May 12th City of Shorewood
A resident called police after picking up “several pieces of dog feces” from their yard. The caller wanted police to do a DNA test on the pieces of feces so the dog could be located and the owner punished.

May 10th City of Fox Point
A woman was cited for damage to property after putting a 12-inch scratch on the side a car. The woman told police that she lost her balance as she walked past the car and scratched it by accident. The car belonged to the woman’s ex-husband.

May 16th City of Franklin
Police were called to the Salvation Army Store where they arrested a man for shoplifting a Beavis and Butthead video tape, valued at 49 cents.

May 16th City of Oak Creek
Police and firefighters responded to a fire alarm at Tanglewood Apartments. An officer spoke to a resident who stated his wife accidentally triggered the alarm as she attempted to hit a cockroach that was climbing up the wall near the fire alarm. An officer spoke with the apartment manager who confirmed the apartment building does have cockroaches.

May 14th City of Waukesha
Police received a report of two women and a man having sex in front of a window with the blinds open. When police arrived “sexual relations” were taking place just inside the window. When police tried to contact the people inside, one of the women slammed the door in their face.

A resident called police to report that people who they reported were having sex in their car the day before are now driving past their home and honking their horn and flipping them off.
