There's a new wrestling promotion starting up and one of their first stops is in NE Wisconsin!
Global Force Wrestling comes to Fox Cities Stadium on July 9th with tickets going on sale tomorrow. The new promotion is run by Jeff Jarrett who you may remember as a former NWA and WCW World Heavyweight Champion and a WWF Intercontinental Champion. In fact, you can meet him tonight when he throws out the first pitch at the Timber Rattlers game at 7:05!

Before David Letterman says goodbye, there will be one more musical guest tonight! His favorite band. Rolling Stone magazine is reporting that the Foo Fighters will be the last guests on tonight's last show.
A new Pete Townshend compilation will include two new songs, including one called “Guantanamo” about the controversial military prison.
Townshend sings in a raspy growl about the Cuban detention camp. “Down in Guantanamo … still guilty with no charge,” he sings over stinging acoustic guitar and skipping percussion. The prison came under fire a few years ago after detainees from Afghanistan reported interrogations that resulted in torture.
The song will join 16 other tracks on Truancy: The Very Best of Pete Townshend, which will be released on June 30 and features solo work by the Who guitarist and songwriter.
Townshend has been busy lately, headlining a benefit concert in Chicago last week, where he played some of his band’s songs with guests like Eddie Vedder, as well as continuing the Who’s 50th-anniversary tour with Roger Daltrey.
He’s also involved in a new collaboration project with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, which will give his 1973 rock opera Quadrophenia a classical update. An album will be released on June 9 with a concert to follow on July 5 at Royal Albert Hall.

Eddie Murphy on SNL was some of the funniest stuff I ever saw growing up and much to my deligh, last weekend, NBC re-ran the December 1984 episode he hosted. It was the last time he appeared on the show. Weekend Update with the dolls, Buckwheat, Gumby, Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood all still burned in my mind.
SNL will celebrate it's 40th Anniversary with a special episode on February 15th - and if I wasn't already excited enough...Eddie Murphy has confirmed that he will be appearing!
