A Green Bay alderman thinks city officials should look into buying an empty portion of the East Town Mall.
Alderman Brian Johnson says it could be used for new construction, affordable housing and public infrastructure improvements. He think that would be important to city tax payers.
Johnson says the site is worth about $3.4 million. He thinks by the time redevelopment is complete is could be worth $15 million. Johnson feels it’s worth a conversation.
