September 10th City of Menasha
Officers responded after a caller at a store on Appleton Road who reported a man and woman entered the store, walked to the clothing section and when the woman exited the store, the security sensor beeped. The caller asked the woman to come back inside and she did so stating the reason she set off the security alarm is because she has a cyst on her arm. The couple then fled the store in a car that had been stolen in Oshkosh.
September 19th Village of Port Edwards
A resident called police and reported someone threw hard boiled eggs in his backyard.
September 18th Forest County
Sheriff’s deputies stopped a 27-year-old Green Bay woman for running a stop sign. A search of the woman’s car turned up marijuana. A further search at the county jail revealed the woman was hiding 15 individually packaged bags of crack cocaine…”inside of her”.
September 17th City of Wisconsin Rapids
A man reported he could not get into his apartment because someone glued all his doors shut.
September 14th City of Beaver Dam
Police responded to a call from an employee at Pizza Hut who said a man came in swearing and ordering him to remake his pizza while refusing to leave.
September 18th City of Sheboygan Falls
A woman who was wanted by police was detained after she drove past an officer and… smiled and waved.
September 23rd City of De Pere
A store employee on Main Avenue got in a verbal dispute with a man he caught stealing alcohol. The alleged thief fled the store before police arrived. The man is described as being “a white male wearing a Packer shirt”. (that narrows it down!)
September 14th City of Waukesha
Police arrested a 30-year-old woman after a housekeeper at a hotel where she was staying reported she stole her cell phone. The woman was taken to the police department and placed in a holding cell where she was handcuffed to the wall. However, the woman, who is very thin, was able to slip her wrist out of the handcuff and escape. After hiding in a pine tree behind the police department, the woman was picked up by a man and the two returned to the hotel where he paid her $80 for sex. However, while at the hotel, the housekeeper whose phone was stolen saw the woman, called police, and she was arrested again.
