Len Nelson: "Today I left the beach and our luxurious resort in the Dominican Republic with some co-workers and my pal Bill to deliver a dozen suitcases full of baseball gloves, balls, bats, shoes and catcher's gear to a rural school about 45 minutes inland. The equipment was donated by folks at home and carried here by volunteers who came with us on the WAPL International Incident 2016 trip. When something as simple as a decent baseball makes such a difference for someone and brings such genuine smiles, it makes our first world problems seem kind of silly. It was a very rewarding day today"
John Jordan: "WAPL's 'Project Baseball' was EASILY one of the most rewarding experiences I've personally had on the WAPL International Incident. Just the look on the kids' faces getting the baseball equipment donated by so many people around Northeast Wisconsin was AMAZING! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH everybody who had a hand in making this happen."
