April 7th City of Menasha
A resident called police and reported two people in the lobby of their building were being loud. Police located the two people in question and found them in the act of…doing a puzzle. Police say the puzzle makers were not being loud when they arrived.
April 11th Village a Pewaukee
Police were called to the technical college after several people complained about a woman they did not know asking them for their urine. The woman told officers she thought she might have a drug test coming up and was just trying to find some clean urine.
April 16th Racine County
Police were called after surveillance cameras revealed a man stealing $300 from the cash register at a Town of Yorkville hotel. The culprit was described as being of average weight and height and wearing a hoodie that read “I love Ho Ho Cake”. According to police, Ho Ho cake is a homemade cake that’s recipe was inspired by Hostess Ho Hos.
April 12th City of West Allis
A 17-year-old girl reported that a man in another car had pointed a gun at her while she was at a stop light. When police located the man, he claimed he did not point a gun at the girl but rather was just “dancing in the driver’s seat while holding a nail gun”.
March 2nd Village of Jackson
A woman called police to complain that another tenant in her apartment building was posting disparaging and disgusting remarks about her on Facebook. The other tenant has been feuding with the neighbors since she moved into the building, often accusing them of breaking into her apartment and stealing things such as perfume, spices, and her wedding dress. An officer told the complainant that these particular Facebook comments, while definitely offensive, were not illegal.
