We are proud to name as this week’s Rick and Len Weenie of the Week… Edwin Guzman-Galarza of Manitowoc. Why? Let me tell you.
Wednesday at 1:41 a.m. police responded to a called about disturbance on South 18th Street. When officers arrived, they found Guzman-Galarza yelling and screaming things at the top of his lungs including “I hate ‘f—ing pigs,’”. Guzman-Galarza was verbally warned to keep the noise down.
Then at 9:01 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to a car wash on Calumet Avenue for the report of a male subject causing a disturbance and using vulgar language. Again, they found Guzman-Galarza pitching some kind of fit.
A few hours later, at 12:14 a.m. Thursday, officers were called to a gas station on Washington Street for a disturbance in which Guzman-Galarza was reportedly “yelling at customers and swinging a belt around.” According to police, Guzman-Galarza had left the scene before officers arrived.
Finally, about 45 minutes later, at 1:01 a.m. Thursday, officers responded to a home on Hamilton Street for the report of a disturbance where a man was out of control, yelling, swearing and trying to force entry into their residence by pounding on the door. Guess who? Yes, Guzman-Galarza again.
The caller also said Guzman-Galarza had a sword. When police arrived with handguns drawn they reportedly found that Guzman-Galarza had also been seen with a gas can and lighter heading toward the residence. Officers located Guzman-Galarza and put him in handcuffs. He was not in possession of a sword at the time but found it and the gas can later. Guzman-Galarza remained “uncooperative by flailing his body, refusing to follow instructions and swearing and yelling” while being escorted to a squad car.
So,
For keeping police busier for 24 hours than a one day half price sale at Dunkin Donuts.
For reportedly wielding a sword…a word with a silent W which is the only quiet thing about this guy.
And for yelling and swearing more than a Bears fan watching Jay Cutler in his prime.
We are proud to name Edwin Guzman-Galarza of Manitowoc as this week’s Rick and Len Show…WEENIE OF THE WEEK!
