We are proud to name as this week’s Rick and Len Show Weenie of the Week…Yangchen Sopa, a 47-year-old Madison woman who Saturday was arrested for drunken driving in Verona…twice…in just three hours. Sopa was stopped the first time for a defective headlight and arrested for driving while intoxicated. The same officer stopped Sopa again, driving the same car with the same defective headlight just 50 minutes after she was sprung from the first arrest.
So,
For seemingly learning so well from her own mistakes, she was able to repeat them exactly.
For apparently committing the same offense, in the same car, in the same county which must have given the same officer a feeling of Dane-ja Vu.
And for now having two cases pending…which, coincidentally, might be the same amount she had to drink.
