June 24th Village of Omro
A man assisting a snapping turtle crossing the road was threatened by a woman who called the Department of Natural Resources to complain. Omro police indicated that the woman was angry because she was under the mistaken impression that the turtle was the man’s pet. The DNR contacted the woman to inform her that the turtle was not the man’s pet.
July 4th City of Neenah
A Higgins Avenue resident reported the theft of a wooden sign reading, “Do not pee.”
July 12th City of Green Bay
A Berner Street resident called police to report people keep going in & out of their neighbor’s garage. The complainant told police he thinks this is suspicious even though the people live there.
July 17th City of Green Bay
A resident called police mid-afternoon to report a woman wearing a white T-shirt and jorts who was walking across the Mason Street Bridge. The caller said the woman had not done anything wrong however they contacted police because they thought she looked “sketchy”.
July 22nd City of Green Bay
Residents of Ponderosa Avenue called police to report they were being chased down the street by angry Chihuahuas.
July 5th Village of Fox Crossing
Police were called about neighbors on Fritsch Street arguing over kids throwing water balloons. Police warned all parties about their behavior.
July 17th City of Sheboygan
Police were called to the Baymont Inn, where a man who was not a guest, was helping himself to the complimentary breakfast buffet.
July 3rd City of Neenah
A woman on West Winneconne Avenue came to the Police Department lobby stating that she lost her friend while shopping at Wal-Mart. The woman was very shaky and nervous and wouldn’t give police any more information before suddenly leaving.
July 12th City of Green Bay
A Janice Avenue woman called police but was not making much sense. The woman stated she may have had a seizure today and then told dispatch to stop bothering her and hung up.
July 15th City of Plymouth
Police were called on a man dressed in black who was dropping his pants and showing people his buttocks. Officers advised the man that mooning was impolite.
July 11th City of Neenah
A caller on Tullar Road called police and reported two juvenile males were throwing rocks at the playground. An officer spoke with the juveniles who stated they created a game where they were trying to throw pebbles through holes on the playground and had no intention of damaging the playground. The juveniles agreed to stop throwing pebbles and promised to pick up the pebbles they had already thrown.
July 5th City of Neenah
A caller on Byrd Avenue reported there was a paper grocery-like bag in the roadway. The caller did not see anyone around the bag but did not want to get closer fearing it posed a danger. responding officers found it to be a fast food bag filled with French fries.
June 21st Village of Omro
Police were called to an Adams Avenue location where an unknown person reported having spray-painted a clown face on the side of a residence.
