Sammy Hagar helped his hometown of Fontana, California by making a cameo in an anti-speeding video put together by the police department.
The cops are seen lip syncing to his song “I Can’t Drive 55” while pulling over those driving much faster.
Hagar is then seen zipping along in his 1982 Ferrari 512BB, which he drove in his video for the song, but he’s never stopped. Then at the end, he exits the car saying, “After all these years I still can’t drive 55. This time I got away with it! Woooo!”
Commenting on his participation, Hagar says, “I couldn’t turn down my hometown PD’s request for a cameo! Does this mean I get a free pass next time?”
