It’s safe to say that seafood is a staple of the East Coast, whether you’re eating it or catching it to make a living. So it didn’t go over well when outsiders told Baltimore that their love of seafood is wrong. The cyclical busybodies at PETA decided to come out from under their rock and publically shame Baltimore for their love of crab. Delicious crab. To do so, the animal rights group has placed billboards around the city in advance of the annual Baltimore Seafood Festival in a couple weeks.

It’s unsure if any of the pro-crab billboards were up during Red Lobster‘s annual Crabfest promotion which started nationally in July and ends in a little over a week. But better late than never, I guess.
