Police were called after a highly intoxicated man on Main Street was unable to pay for a hot dog. Police contacted a family member to come remit payment for the hot dog and take the man home.

A resident called police to report a man armed with a leaf blower blew his hat off.

A caller reported finding her house key months after it went missing last winter. She suspects whoever stole the key dropped it while he was in her house about one week ago while she was away. She recently purchased 12 pizzas, ate one pizza, went away for a few days, then returned to find all but three of her pizzas missing from her freezer.

A caller reported her 14-year-old son refused to get out of bed and when she threw cold water on him, he kicked her in the stomach.

A woman said she went to her neighbor’s house to walk a cat and saw someone slumped over in a driver’s seat.

A tavern employee called police and reported a man and woman were who were out of control and chasing each other around the bar.

A caller told police a man was walking through a parking lot and looked like he had something metal in his hand. Responding officer located the man and discovered he was throwing away an empty soda can.

Someone left a large pile of VHS tapes in the middle of Western Avenue. The tapes included; Porky’s, While You Were Sleeping and Learn to Subtract. Officers not only picked up the tapes but also addressed the incident on social media with considerable sarcasm.

A person attending the Sheboygan County fair called police to report “an annoying woman screaming in the grand stand”.

A resident reported a break-in. According to the caller, the suspect entered their barn and may have bathed in their horse trough, leaving his socks behind.

A woman called 911 because she didn’t know how to hook up her TV and requested police assistance. The woman was counseled on proper 911 use and the cable company agreed to help her.
August 13th City of Beaver DamPolice responded to an anonymous report of men yelling. An officer contacted a man who said he was playing the Madden football video game by himself and he had picked a bad team.
August 17th City of Menasha
Officers were dispatched to McDonald’s for a report of a plastic food tray being stolen. The reporting person gave police the license plate number of the vehicle involved. Using the license plate number, police tracked down the plastic food tray thief. The culprit admitted to police that he did take the tray, and would return it by the end of the night.
