A little over a week ago, we got the very first trailer for the Ted Bundy film ‘Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile’ (watch above), which premiered last weekend at Sundance Film Festival. The movie, featuring Zac Efron as Ted Bundy, boasts a cameo from James Hetfield as the sheriff.
Now, according to reports from Deadline, Netflix has officially acquired the rights to the film for $9 million. A theatrical run is also reportedly being planned.
