In a nearly 50-year career that’s included multi-platinum albums, sold-out tours, awards, and induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Aerosmith have one honor that won’t arrive until this Valentine’s Day.
On February 14, the band will receive the 2,657th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The star-shaped marker bearing the group’s name will be unveiled on Hollywood Boulevard in front of Musicians Institute in Los Angeles. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. CT, with guest speakers and the band themselves. You can watch the ceremony streamed live at WalkofFame.com.
“Finally! We have been waiting a long time to honor Aerosmith with their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” says Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez. “Aerosmith is one of the greatest rock bands in the world and we expect many fans will be ‘Crazy’ excited to see them honored!”
