Good news for AC/DC fans! According to the band’s longtime engineer Mike Fraser, they’ve been in the studio recently working on something. In an interview with Australian record-masterer and podcaster Tony “Jack the Bear” Mantz, the two discussed a variety of things including Fraser’s work with AC/DC.
When asked (37:36 mark): “Are the rumors true that there’s another album in the works?”
Mike: “Um… well yeah I can say that we’ve been in the studio doing something. What’s come of that, I can’t really discuss”
Tony: “With Brian singing?”
Mike: “I think so.”
We’ve been reporting over the last year of the various rumors of the band working on new music. We don’t know right now if they are working on new music or rehearsing for a tour, but “something” is happening and we’re happy with that for now.
