Michael Anthony of Van Halen, Chickenfoot, and The Circle with Sammy Hagar, got the great news that his daughter Elisha and her husband Billy are expecting another child this fall.
They have a three-year-old daughter, Nina, but lost their son Rex in 2017 to heart disease two weeks after he was born.
The family found out it would be a girl when Billy sky-dived above Oceanside, California followed by a trail of pink smoke. Mike posted:
“Actually the smoke is pink meaning we’re having another granddaughter!! That’s my son in law Billy who skydived with the news for us today. Couldn’t be happier!!”
Sammy Hagar was among those who replied with congratulations for Mikey’s expanding family.
“Congratulations to the whole gang.That is so beautiful awesome more than awesome congratulations Elicia, Billy, Mike and Sue”
On June 22nd, Anthony will walk as part of the Walk and Play L.A. charity walk with his family and the Rex and the Heartbeaters team for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles in memory of Rex.
