We are proud to name the week’s Rick and Len Show Weenie of the Week…Juan Olvera of Chilton who according to police reports, lead deputies on a high speed chase Saturday night for nearly10 miles on highway 151 through Fond du Lac County at speeds up to 120 miles an hour…while drunk…with… let’s count ‘em; 1, 2, 3, 4 kids in the vehicle at the time.
During the chase, Olvera reportedly stopped at stop lights, but repeatedly reversed, pulling out in front of a deputy, and then switching back to drive when the lights were green. Two deputies eventually stopped him, blocking him in near the intersections of University Drive and East Johnson Street.
A “preliminary breath test” found Olvera’s blood alcohol level to be .127%.
So,
For pulling out in front of the deputy when he might have been better off pulling out before he conceived any of those poor kids.
For not realizing that the only way he could have put those kids more at risk is if he had Jared Fogel riding shotgun.
For traveling at 120 miles an hour in Fond du Lac County on highway 151 instead of highway 26 where he would have at least made every Rosendale traffic cops ultimate wet dream come true.
