Tom Petty is remembered in a new video for “Crystal River,” a song from his old band, Mudcrutch.
The song is from Mudcrutch’s self-titled reunion album that came out in 2008. The video for it was created by Curtis Cooper, the brother-in-law of Mudcrutch guitarist Tom Leadon, whose older brother is original Eagles guitarist Bernie Leadon.
The video features footage of the band performing the song at the Troubadour in Hollywood in 2008. It was shot so Leadon’s elderly father, who was unable to attend, could see his son perform.
