A woman in England recently asked her coworkers for a birthday cake with pop singer and diva Mariah Carey on it.
Apparently the bakery misheard the request. Instead they made a cake featuring a picture of Marie Curie, physicist and chemist and the first woman to win the Nobel Prize, the first person and only woman to win the Nobel Prize twice, and the only person to win a Nobel Prize in two different scientific fields.
So, you know… the polar opposite of Mariah Carey. But a much better role model.
Mariah Carey saw a tweeted picture of the cake and wished Siobhan a happy birthday.
My cousin in England told her colleagues she wanted a Mariah Carey birthday cake. They misunderstood, and is the cake they made her instead. It’s Marie Curie, looking very festive. pic.twitter.com/LMHJnMATqD

At least Mariah had a good response, implying she could have been like Marie Curie, “if only I hadn’t failed remedial math.”
This could've been me if only I hadn't failed remedial math 🤦♀️ happy birthday Siobhan!! 😘 https://t.co/Ffz69lTRkc
