In February, Alice In Chains announced the Black Antenna project. The band teamed with film-maker Adam Mason on a companion movie to the album Rainier Fog.
The album served as inspiration for a full 90-minute sci-fi feature titled Black Antenna. The film was split and released in 10 segments, with each segment utilizing one of the songs from the album.
Adam Mason had this to say about working with Alice in Chains:
“I’m a longtime fan of the band. And this was an opportunity to do something fresh and inspiring from an indie filmmaking side. The sound and vision between album and film are closely intertwined — it was a brilliant synergy that led to a really unique project.”
You can watch all 10 segments below with a full movie coming soon.
