A dazzling new addition to this year‘s Mile Of Music is the Gig Poster Project.
Ten area visual artists have created ten posters for ten of this year’s Mile of Music artists. Each will be available exclusively at a different downtown retailer during the month of August while supplies last.
The Gig Poster Project is the brain child of Jane Oliver, graphic designer and co-owner of Mondo! Wine Bar & Retail in downtown Appleton. Each poster is 12″ x 18″ and cost $20. Approximately 35% of proceeds from the sales of the posters will go back into the community to promote local arts education. The posters are being printed locally at Amano prints + threads and sold in downtown retail locations to promote shopping on College Avenue.
