Years ago, it was a tradition in my family to make Camp Scholler our temporary home during the EAA fly-in before it was known as AirVenture. I also remember camping elsewhere with different people on a couple of other occasions.
In all of those outings, a motorhome was never the shelter of choice. I think that’s partly why I prefer small camping trailers instead.
