The suspect in a hit and run in downtown Green Bay is scheduled for court today.
Twenty-year-old Christopher Morris is accused of driving drunk when he hit 26-year-old Ryan Donovan last week at the intersection of North Broadway and Dousman Street.
Donovan remains hospitalized and his friends and family are coming together tonight with a benefit show called Rising for Ryan to raise money to help with medical bills. At the time of this report, almost $10,000 of the $100,000 goal has been raised. Here is a link to the GoFundMe page to donate.
Hannah Bauer, Ryan’s girlfriend, believe he and his band Vacation made a name for themselves in the Green Bay music scene.
Many of them will perform tonight at the Sardine Can, a bar Donovan’s ban often played.
