Health care workers are trying to figure out how to deal with lung issues connected to vaping.
There have been 16 confirmed cases in the state so far. Those include some in Winnebago and Door counties.
Colton Skenandore is with the Green Bay BayCare Clinic. He thinks it’s something they should take into consideration when someone is complaining about having chest issues.
Skenandore says since vaping is relatively new there isn’t a lot of research about it. He thinks some people are using the devices without really knowing what’s in them.
Milwaukee’s city health department is telling people to stop vaping immediately because of the number of people hospitalized from it.
