Prosecutors are filing formal charges against a man accused of shooting at his house, after he got into an argument with his father over cooking cabbage.
They say 31-year-old Robert McMahon of Menasha was boiling cabbage after 10 p.m. on August 25th, and his father confronted Robert because he couldn’t “stand the smell.”
Robert is accused of grabbing a knife, and putting it to his father’s neck. They say he also pushed a refrigerator onto his father.
Police believe Robert later fired several shots at the house, and there were bullet holes in the garage door.
