If you’ve ever wanted to own one of Sammy Hagar’s cars, now’s your chance as he’s putting his 1970 Chevrolet El Camino SS up for bids. Speeding tickets will be your own problem.
Sammy says the specs on the car, as he knows them, are: 454 C.I. engine, 450 horse power, three-speed automatic, Cowell induction, low miles on professional rebuild of non-original motor and transmission. Cragar rims, body in great condition, clean interior. Overall condition is good-plus. The car has been kept indoors in a weather controlled environment.
The bidding starts at $55,000 and runs through September 25th at 10:13pm PT. The winner will also receive: a collection of swag, including but not limited to a signed Sammy Hagar Signature Cabo Wabo Yamaha Guitar, a signed 16-by-20 metal print of Sammy and the El Camino, one signed bottle each of Santo Mezquila and Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum and more.
Sammy will personally hand the title and keys to winner, who must pick the car up in the San Francisco Bay Area.
