There’s an investigation into the death of an elderly woman in Marinette County.
Sheriff Jerry Sauve says she was found dead in a house along Highway 64 in the Town of Peshtigo. There was an autopsy this morning.
Sauve is calling the death an isolated incident, and he doesn’t think the community is in danger.
