A former Little Chute High School teacher is facing more prison time…for sexually assaulting teenage girls.
Several months after he was sentenced for a 20-year-old case, jurors found 47-year-old Jason LaVigne guilty of assaulting a 16-year-old girl in Marinette County last summer. He was convicted of third-degree sexual assault.
LaVigne is currently behind bars for five years, for rubbing up against a former student in 1999, and asking her to have sexual contact with him. She was 14 at the time.
Outagamie County prosecutors learned about that case after LaVigne’s arrest in Marinette County.
The 16-year-old girl was in the Crivitz area with LaVigne’s family. Prosecutors say they were boating, and he gave her several vodka lemonades. They say he assaulted her, after stopping at a beach area.
