Runners from around the country are gearing up for the annual Fox Cities Marathon.
Spokeswoman Tara Perre says about 700 kids will take part in events at Fox Cities Stadium tonight. About 1,000 people are signed up for tomorrow’s 5K run/walk at Riverside Park in Neenah.
She says the marathon, half-marathon, and relay marathon kick off early Sunday morning at the UW-Oshkosh Fox Cites campus in Menasha.
Perre says the marathon course is the same as in the past.
Proceeds from the race go to local nonprofits.
