Two years after it opened, the Oshkosh Aviation Business Park will finally get a taxiway that connects to Wittman Regional Airport.
The City of Oshkosh put in utilities and a street leading into the park, but there hasn’t been a way to get an airplane from the runway to potential businesses.
Airport Director Jim Schell says that’s made it hard to attract new companies.
This week, the Winnebago County board approved spending $450,000 to build the taxiway to the business park. It should be completed next year.
