There’s a push locally, and around the country today, to register more people to vote.
The League of Women Voters is taking part in the campaign. State Executive Director Erin Grunze says they’re holding events at a variety of locations. They include high schools, libraries, and grocery stores.
Grunze says while there isn’t a big national election until the fall of 2020, they want people to prepare. She says their group also encourages people to vote in local elections in the spring of the year.
