Chick-fil-A is eyeing a spot in Oshkosh.
The restaurant would be off I-41, on N. Washburn Street, near the Omro Road exit.
City Planning Services Director Mark Lyons says it would be next to a multi-tenant building and the under-construction Verve Credit Union. He says the developer was always planning to have a third building there, and Chick-fil-A showed interest.
The plan commission will talk about the project next Tuesday. Lyons says city staffers haven’t seen a timeline for when the restaurant could open.
Chick-fil-A opened its first location in northeast Wisconsin, in the Fox Cities, last month. It’s on College Avenue, off I-41 in Grand Chute.
