A 35-year-old Fond du Lac man is convicted of two counts of homicide by negligent operation of a motor vehicle for the deaths of a father and son.
After four hours of deliberation a jury found Travis Wollersheim guilty of causing the 2016 accident that killed 26-year-old David Button and his eight-year-old-son Joseph.
They died when the car they were driving in was rear ended by a Jeep Wollersheim was driving and pushed into a semi.
Each count carries a maximum penalty of up to five years in prison, five years of extended supervision and a $25,000 fine.
A sentencing date hasn’t been set.
