A special committee for the Oshkosh school district is beginning to look at just how many buildings are needed for the expected number of students in the future.
Deputy Superintendent David Gundlach says the models they are working with right now don’t include any specifics when it comes to existing schools. He says they’re looking at how they would ideally lay out the schools from scratch, based on the information they have.
The district’s goal is to create as many 5-track elementary schools and 8-track middle schools as possible.
