The nearly three-week run of “Hamilton” at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center will be a boost for downtown businesses.
The musical opens tonight, and there will be 24 performances through October 20th.
Lynn Schemm of Appleton Downtown Incorporated says plenty of people go to dinner and have drinks when they’re downtown. She says there’s a bigger impact when a show is in town for more than the typical week.
Nearly all of the PAC’s shows are in town for about a week.
Earlier this year, “The Lion King” was also there for three weeks.
