A state appeals court is upholding a man’s drunk driving conviction for being on a riding lawnmower on a street.
Police stopped Keith Shoeder in Rhinelander after he left a bar in 2017. He argued the mower was an all-terrain vehicle, and not a motor vehicle, so the charge should be dismissed.
The appeals court ruled that it’s a motor vehicle.
It was Shoeder’s fourth drunk driving arrest.
