Kids caught vaping in the Mishicot school district can take a class instead of getting a suspension.
Administrators are offering the five-hour online course called “Vape Educate,” in hopes of convincing kids to give up the habit.
Superintendent Paul Orlich says keeping kids at home won’t solve the problem. He believes they need the educational piece, instead of just punishing students.
The anti-vaping class is also being offered to seventh and ninth grade students in Mishicot this year.
