An Oshkosh woman’s story of compassion is garnering international attention.
Amber Leinweber got a new cell phone for work and noticed text messages talking about how much the sender missed the receiver.
Leinweber says she replied to the sender Ruth Murray and found out the phone number belonged to her brother who recently died from cancer.
Ruth Murray and Amber Leinweber are staying in touch and Lineweber is helping Murray through the grieving process.
Amber and Ruth’s story has gone viral on Reddit and both have done interviews in Britain and across the U.S.
They hope to meet in person soon.
