A 17-year-old Manitowoc girl battling a rare form of brain and spinal cancer is getting ready to undergo major surgery and she’s getting support from people around the world.
In a story from our TV partners at Action 2 News, Isabella Brooks and her mother Becky Brooks talk about it.
Becky took to Facebook to tell the girl’s story about being given up by her parents and spending time in several foster homes before being adopted by the Brook’s family.
Becky is asking people to send Isabella letters and cards as she prepares for surgery on October 29.
Becky says she will read those letters to her as she recovers.
