A narrow majority of voters in the state oppose the impeachment inquiry against President Trump.
The Marquette Law School poll shows 49 percent don’t think the House should hold impeachment hearings. Forty-six percent approve of them.
Fifty-one percent don’t believe Trump should be impeached and removed from office. Forty-four percent support impeachment and removal.
Franklin says the numbers supporting impeachment are up significantly from earlier this year. Thirty-three percent supported it in January, and 29 percent in April.
